Labuan Bajo – Flores, Nusa Tenggara Timur

Recently, Labuan Bajo becomes very popular destination among international tourist as it the entry port for Komodo Island and Rinca Island, home to the famous komodo dragons. It is a small fishing site with suprisingly comprehensive tourist facilities. The town is quite small and easily be traversed on foot (in 10-15 minutes). Within few hours you can find several waterfalls, trekking and beaches. 

Activity

As there are many beaches in this island, snorkeling and diving will be an interesting activity to do. Check Kanawa and Seraya Islands, both is great spot to do the water sport. But most of traveler head for Labuan Bajo are definitely will go to Komodo National Park, since its only 2km from the center city of Labuan Bajo.

To Get Around

You can rent a car or travel from the airport to go around the place. For more mobility within the city, you can take bemo or motor taxi (ojek), but they are only operated until 9pm.  Rented speed boat or motor boat is available in the port for traveling within islands.
