Cycling, Longevity and Health

Cycling has been enjoyed by many people since the 19th Century. Cycling was first popular in Europe, and later in North America. Shortly after, cycling gained popularity throughout the remainder of the world. Cycling is primarily used as a mode of transportation. One can also use cycling for recreation and sport.
Many people from various communities and backgrounds, use cycling for recreation and fitness. Cycling is very enjoyable and being such, has made many people more fit and in better health. We often see people riding a bike, at most hours of the day. Cycling is great for cardiovascular improvement and general level of fitness.

As an exercise, cycling provides many benefits for young and old. Cycling can tone and shape the muscles of the body, it can strengthen and tighten the muscles,decrease fat content in the thighs, calves and hips. Cycling can also reduce cellulite in the thighs, and is less stressful on all the joints in use for the exercise. Cycling is an excellent form of aerobic exercise.

Cycling can also improve your body's resistance to diseases, such as Heart Disease and Diabetes, because it lowers blood pressure and reduces stress. Also, cycling can also assist the distribution of the nutrients in your blood, by increasing your blood flow and helping to maintain the health of our arteries. All in all, cycling has become a very important activity in our life. Hopefully, with proper care and attitude, we can enjoy cycling as a form of recreational exercise, as a sport and as a mode of personal transportation, for our entire life.
